Administrative Law

The experience of the members of the firm in the administrative or regulatory law area is extensive and varied. Members of the firm have broad knowledge of insurance, reinsurance and related matters as a result of experience representing insurance companies, as well as the Director of the Missouri Division of Insurance, in his capacity as receiver for Missouri-domiciled insolvent insurance companies.  SLS attorneys also worked on The Missouri Bar Plan administrative matters, a Missouri legal malpractice insurance carrier and Medical Defense Associates, a major medical malpractice insurance carrier. SLS attorneys have registered and chartered insurance
companies, including a risk retention group formed under the Federal Liability Risk Retention Act.  We have also handled administrative matters for insurance companies before various insurance commissioners.
